The Letpoint policy enables landlords to combine their insurance requirements under one policy. The standard policy. The standard policy provides protection for:

Buildings including subsidence.
Accidental damage to fixed glass.
Property Owners Liability (£2m).
Fire, Lightning, Explosion or Earthquake
Storm, Tempest or Flood
Escape of Water from fixed water tanks, apparatus or pipes
Theft or attempted theft
Subsidence, landslip or heave
Falling or collapse or radio and television aerials (buildings only)
Falling trees

The Letpoint policy covers damages, legal costs and expenses for which you are legally liable as landlord or owner of the property insured up to a limit of £1m.

Accidental damage to buildings
Landlords contents can also be insured for standard as well as accidental cover.
Employers Liability for any person under a contract of service and engaged in domestic duties in or about the premises - up to a limit of £10m.
